Condescending, full of himself, deceitful, seems like an idiot in court, has a ghetto office that is actually worse than Michael Pariente's Office. Even more surprising, is that, like Pariente-- the exorbitant fees they attempt to charge Screw you over with you would think they would have the type of offices to reflect these outrageous fees being paid to them for their utter incompetence. Grasso quotes some far fetched fee without seeing any of your evidence, even though his website claims to be affordable.
This one put the nail in the coffin of my case, I knew immediately after standing with him in court, that;
a) I looked bad because he was an hour late and
b) seemed like a bumbling idiot when speaking to Judge Tao. Right after that hearing, I felt sick knowing that this was yet another idiot attorney and the wrong one to represent my case.
I had to get rid of him, but how? I was going to look like an idiot to the court if I fired him, so, someway, somehow, I had to get him to withdraw--BUT not in any kind of an obvious manner. This way I can finally be free to represent myself, which is what I wanted all along, because NO ONE, especially after having Cook for almost two years, would represent me in the way that I could. I proved this in court at my hearings, especially at my first and only hearing with Grasso. The court transcripts and court video will prove that I was the one clear and concise with the Judge, while Grasso seemed weak and meek.
Even one of the Deputy District Attorneys remarked to Grasso and I as we were leaving the Defendant's Table, 'which one of you is the lawyer?' To which, we all laughed.
See below, the Motions that I had prepared over days and were ready to be filed.
Right before submitting them, I needed one question answered that had occurred to me, the evening before submission (Sunday).
So, what do I do? I shoot off an e-mail to Tracy Cordoba to forward to Paula Walsh, Judge Tao's Judicial Assistant...
It backfired badly and Gabriel Grasso told me that "he was ordered by Judge Tao to remain my counsel".
By this time I felt like I was insane, I wanted this clown GONE! I made it loud and clear that Grasso was to OUT, OFF OF MY CASE as he had displayed deceit and incompetence and his stupid moves got me even deeper down the rabbit hole.
BUT because I was now ordered stuck with Grasso, I just finally gave up. I conceded that this absurdity would never end, when all that had to happen was to allow me to give one item from my smoking gun evidence, and this would all be done. Being bullied by the prosecution who also lies and plays it 100% unfairly, so, the next plan of action will be disclosed in due time--Life just isn't worth it anymore, the grief of losing my company and what could have been along with shitty tricks from the other side and stupid lawyers, it's just a three ring continuing circus. I am too overwhelmed to keep going on with these levels of anger and pure sadness for this tremendous loss.
THEREFORE--I took from January 4th to April 24th to have all the credits re-edited on each and every production in the library, with the end result not having Ocean Pictures Inc. nor my name anywhere in the open and close of each production, as each was originally formatted.
Since the overzealous investigators ruined my company reputation and my own reputation by calling all the networks I aired some productions on, calling the publications I advertised in from the Hollywood Reporter to Variety and going in person to any entity I ever wrote a check to, and telling all the aforementioned that I was being investigated for fraud and theft-- the one thing they cannot and will not tarnish is my most valuable asset-- the 171 hours of produced content. Since I was never given the chance to present this to the AG's office, it worked out for the better because now that content will not have any smears against it, since both my name and my company name have been edited out of each and every production. There are four appointed people that are going to release the content throughout different networks and Internet channels and no one will be the wiser that my company was the one that produced these productions, so the joke is on the prosecution.
They destroyed everything, but that content - they will never get their filthy hands on.
This entire circus could have been completely avoided, had I just been given the opportunity to present one piece of my smoking gun evidence, proof beyond a shadow of a doubt, that their accusations were meritless .
The District Attorney at that time, David Roger's Office-WOULD HAVE ALLOWED-me to present my evidence, case closed!
My final communications with Gabriel Grasso prior to simply giving up, he will never stop being and thinking moronic, which is unfortunate...I stopped trusting him at the one and only appearance I ever had with him and not only was he almost an hour late, he also looked like a bumbling idiot after I stated that I had 28 witnesses. Just look at the court hearing video or read a transcript to see what transpired.
Final nail in the coffin proof that this just wasn't going to end.
The attorney general's office plays with people's lives for sport (in my case this also affected the State's economy, in addition to yanking the opportunity for job creation-200 new jobs to be exact, and continued growth through the years!) all by utilizing smear tactics and dirty tricks on the road to trial.
A perfect example is Oprah's network - OWN. They jumped in too soon, launched it in less than a year. They weren't ready. In the Cable industry - content is king, that is the rule. You have to have a great content library which includes a great balance of acquisition and original programming.
Once everything is completely spelled out in this blog, and whomever reads it, will quickly see that this was a bogus case that cost Las Vegas a truly great company that would have only continued to grow.
I have the successful formula for great cable networks, which I cultivated over a number of years and anyone with all of my information could launch a network immediately. There is nothing but direct evidence to support these claims!

I gave woodrum the benefit of the doubt in the very beginning, believing he was just doing his job , however...he switched the dates of my prelim without any of my knowledge-- back three weeks! I had fired schneider and when i called woodrum to tell him I let him go, woodrum tells me he cant talk to me all while knowing that the prelim was changed.
How did I happen to find out?
I called Judge Oesterle's office and spoke to Tracy who is such a sweet person, to ask well ahead of time what courtroom I needed to be in and that is when she alerted me to the three week change . Originally set for July 27 and the sneak has it changed to July 7. So had I not spoken to Tracy, the prelim would have gone on without me.
Imagine?
So I filed a motion.
The idiot states in the court to the judge that he has no idea why a motion was filed.
woodrum lies to the court and states that this is the second lawyer that withdrew due to no pay which was utter bs and when I spoke up and told the judge the actual truth, naturally the minutes person only put woodrum's argument, NOTHING of what I said that debunked his embellishments.
The physical proof of what I am alleging is in the court video archives that I am hoping is all at Judge Tao's perusal.
Right in those videos completely prove to be true with what I am complaining about right here.

woodrum strikes again and tells the judge last week more lies and said this is the second court date I missed, now I've got a warrant issued and a warrant recalled there in for all to see in the minutes.
Some of the minutes paint me as an idiot and it is all thanks to woodrum's tactics.

Could you mention to Judge Tao that I am filing a motion to get the inaccurate minutes redefined?
Lol, they still have me under the prosecution of David Roger ( which I wish was true and this would all be nonexistent ) when it is supposed to be masto?

That I am not delaying anything on purpose at all, I have a massively strong case and have cooperated all along but this ties into last week. She just suddenly fell out of nowhere and we are dealing with a number of specialists back East and the earliest I am able to be back is Wednesday and I will NEVER NOT EVER do this again, NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN,, and I will provide the medical records proof, all of it all on Thursday..
Believe me, if I am not there on Thursday, it would only be because I died, lol. That is the ONLY thing stopping me from being there Thursday to see Judge Tao and grovel, otherwise Judge Tao can send the marshals straight for me and cause a huge Hollywood scene at my home, that's how sure I am I will be there.
I feel honored he is my Judge, I have peace that he is a fair and elegant Judge that treats everyone like a person and I truly look forward to him seeing my evidence and hearing my side and seeing that I am a good person that had a massive project that would be up and running this very moment had not this wonderful two year investigation that turned into horrific and unjust actions ...the very things that some movies are made of.

The primary message I beg to relay to Judge Tao is that I am ready to turn all of my discovery over to the prosecution, that I am ready to go to trial with new counsel and that he will be there Thursday as well to pick up from where you and I leave off. and that we only need two weeks. Thats all, we are ready! That may sound crazy, yet all the evidence paints a FAR different picture than the one I have been portrayed as and having to unfairly deal and live with for what seems an eternity. (years)

Please please ask Paula if you could listen to my messages just so you can get physical evidence and will see that I NEVER said that you just told me about the hearing the day before.
I told her the truth, that it was mid x-mas week when I found out about the hearing I missed, I promise you I would never do such a thing. That is a serious betrayal in my book and I would be sick to do something like that.

I know you know that woodrum is a very weak attorney. I am not just saying that because I detest him. He completely retreats when you challenge him firmly/ stand up to him. I am sick off them getting away with tricks while I cant fight back and call them on it, or take jabs at them in the same way they do me. But when I stand up for myself, he almost looks paralyzed, I swear. You should pull the videos of my appearances if you ever want a good laugh, you can see me get wildcat with him ever since I found out early on that he does not play fair or nice and that it's douchebags like him that give the attorney profession a shady characterization.
Plus it does not help at all that he looks like an ogre.

I put up a fight to have the judge reset the case till Thursday. Also made some of the arguments you suggested. No go. Even waited to late this morning to try and have the judge rehear it. He won't, so I'm writing to say that as of this afternoon, there's a warrant for your arrest. I stayed on as your lawyer in order to try and help you out of this. You need to get to me ASAP. We can walk into court on Thursday and get the warrant quashed. After my arguments judge Tao clearly left that door open for us. Lisa, I'm still your lawyer. Please take advantage of that and work with me to get this thing resolved. Once we clear it up I'll withdraw.
Also, I'll take you up on depositing that 20k check. Make sure the money is in the account. Call my office this afternoon so we can talk about what we need to do to resolve this warrant issue.

Can you stop being the lawyer for once in your life! You have to be in my office because when I spike to the judge, that's the only way he would hear your case on Thursday. You don't have the greatest record of being in court when you're supposed to and today you weren't at your calendar call. I'm trying to help you. We're past excuses. Please listen to me and follow my advice. Be in my office tomorrow afternoon. It is a safe haven from any warrant. We need to act now. You have one of the top lawyers in the West for free. Be smart enough to at least take advantage of it.

His peers DO NOT recommend him and people only know him as the shoddy defense for OJ Simpson who ended up in jail for 33 years. Great lawyer alright (insert sarcasm here)Find one list this guy is on, Super Lawyers, or any other lawyer rated list--nowhere to be found. No ratings or recommendations from any of his peers, in fact, a number of peers have mentioned he is not a good lawyer at all. His seriously ghetto office is yet another dead giveaway. Perhaps he and Pariente can get one big ghetto office together while they keep screwing up cases for their clients while charging ridiculous fees.
